Thanks for this tasty bread recipe Ellen.
Rhubarb Bread
1 1/2 c brown sugar 2/3 c oil 1 egg 1 c milk, soured with 1 tbsp vinegar 1 tsp salt 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp vanilla 2 1/2 c flour 1 1/2 c fresh, rhubarb, diced 1/2 nuts, chopped (optional)
TOPPING 1/2 c brown sugar 1 tbsp butter
Oven @ 350 Mix bread ingred. in order given. Pour into 1 large or 2 small greasd loaf pans. ( I used a bundt pan) Mix butter and sugar together to form topping and sprinkle over top of batter. Bake about 1 hour. Do not overbake. Enjoy Ellen
